KVM - The more ports the Better?
One of the main reasons to use a KVM switch is to save space. This is often best accomplished by using a switch that has a greater number of ports.
In this section you will find KVM switches that are 5 or more ports. Typically, you will find 8 ports, 16 ports and even 32 port switches.
Most of the time you will need to add cables and maybe dongles to complete the switch.
Be sure to know whether your servers or computers have PS/2 or USB connections to operate the keyboard and mouse.
If you choose a CAT5 solution then you will need dongles which convert the keyboard and mouse signals.
